As children growing up on the Northeast side of Oklahoma City, we have many fond memories of Raymond Mitchell working at Stiles Center on NE 10th and Stiles. He and Center Director Doris Williams, and other workers, like Marvin Provo and Raymond Hayes, were great role models for so many young people during the mid to late 50s. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

While I was not lucky enough to meet Mr. Raymond Mitchell, I can tell he was an incredible man by the son he raised. Fairo is an incredible person with a love for family and a wonderful work ethic that was clearly influenced by his father. I am the most thankful that Fairo has a sense of humor that is a blessing to those around him, and from stories about his incredible father, I think I know from whence it came. I am sorry for your loss and you will all be in our prayers.

Fairo I know the loss of your father is not easy to deal with. Knowing you makes me think that there is a lot of him in your personality. Your father would be so proud of the person you are. I hope you and your family find peace in your hearts soon. Luis and Kevin

Fairo and Family, You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know from experience that it is never easy to lose a loved one, but there is rest in the fact that they are in a much better place. God will give your strenght for your days if you lean on him when needed. God Bless!
