To The Family: Words cannot express the sadness felt after hearing the news of her passing. Idell, My Mom, Cleavern, and Aunt, Willie Mae shared a bond of friendship/sisterhood for sixty years plus. Any significant loss we have had during my lifetime, She was there. I will never forget the words spoken by Her at my Mother's Service: "I will be a mother, aunt, sister, friend, what ever you need me to be." So, Family our hearts go out to you and we will be what ever you need us to be! We feel your pain Tremendously. It is our prayer that God keep and comfort each of you in the most darkest hours. With heavy hearts, Cathy Kendrick-Heard

Another soldier gone home. Ms. Winfrey was a wonderful and beautiful lady, My sisters and brother had the pleasure of her being a long time friend to our mother Sallie Lovelace. Ms. Winfrey treated us like her own family. I often loved visiting with her in her home where she would also have words of encouragement and wisdom. Rest assured that she is resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior and rejoicing with many friends gone on before her.
