I take great comfort in being able to have spent time with my sister when my daughter Tammy and I drove to OKC to spend a couple of days with her in March. The memory of being able to touch her, hug her and laugh with her is something we will cherish. Not to mention the nail colors she insisted on having; we honored her request, shopping for the brightest, sparkly, colors we could find, yet knowing she wouldn’t be allowed to use it. But it made her happy!
I remember the many conversations we had. We didn’t see eye to eye on some things, but there was never any doubt that we loved one another. My sister always spoke encouraging words over my family. As I write this I can hear her voice: “Give everybody my love,” and “Family Matters,” is how she’d end our conversations. We will truly miss her.
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” Rest among the angels dear sister.
Heaven needed a piano player, and Aunt Laine is singing with the angels ~ from nephew
