We send our condolences in the passing of Mrs Opal Childs. My grandmother, Ora Lee Eason, & Mrs Childs were the best of friends, more like sisters, which made her family to us. Opal had a vivid and colorful memory of her childhood and she enjoyed telling and retelling her stories to all visitors to her home. Opal was four years older than our dad and she would often recite his first Easter speech when he was four years old. We relished being in her company to the very end of her life and we will miss her dearly!
