"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and wit the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." What can I say. Momma Haynes was a pioneer. Anything she set her mind on doing, she wouldn't stop until it got done no matter how many obstacles got in her way. She had such a caring and giving heart. She enjoyed helping people even those that took advantage of her. She knew whose child she belonged to and He had her back. I can't begin to tell how she gave to the sick, homeless and the hungry. She not only helped financially but spiritually too. One thing I do know, she loved the Lord and studying His word. We talked almost everyday. I'm gonna truly miss her and her wisdom. She's absent from the body but present with the Lord. To God Be The Glory. Rest in Peace Mom, Your adopted daughter Earnie, Love Always. My sincerest condolences to the family. Praying for you all.

I vividly remember Mrs. Haynes as a Business Clerical instructor at the Guthrie Job Corps. She instinctively gained attention when she entered the room and treated every student as an individual and with compassion. She was an amazing example of a Christian woman and a little bit of a comedian. It is a pleasure to say that I had the opportunity to be taught by her. Rejoice in Heaven Mrs. Haynes and enjoy your reward.

Words do not exist to describe the extraordinary impact that Ms. Jean Haynes had on my life. For she was wise, savvy, and smart. Her pride in and unconditional love for her family were unquestionable. Similarly, she showed unbridled compassion, love, and concern for her students, colleagues, and friends. What a stalwart, majestic African American woman and "role model" was she for all of us who were blessed to have known her. What an noble woman was she. For I will forever celebrate her incredible life. Prayers and blessings to Ms. Haynes's family.
