Alycia and I were friends for 27 years, during those years we had good times and I couldn't have asked for a better friendship, she was loved by my whole family and had such an infectious laugh!! Years went by and we would grow and have our own families so we didn't see each other as much, whenever we did see each other we would always pick up where e left off. One day I would change my job location and on my tour through the Dialysis unit I heard this familiar voice shout out my name!, I immediately turned around and to my surprise, it was Alycia!! Well after that, I forgot about my interview and dropped my purse,ran over to Alycia with such joy I couldn't stop crying and she said " Girl you still goofey" after that we broke out into laughter. I was so happy to see her after years gone by. I got the job at the dialysis unit and I would be blessed and honored to see my friend and be able to help take care of her several times a week for 7 years!! GOD IS SO GOOD! Nomatter what she was going through she always had a smile on her face! 2008 I left the unit due to my own illness but kept tabs on her through my son who was also an emplyee there. I am so glad she was a part of my life, I will miss her but she will live on forever in my heart!! May the Lord wrap his arms around her Mother and her beautiful little family during this difficult time and just know she has a place right there in heaven, for she is and was truly an Angel!!!
