Dear Family, There is a scripture that always comforts me in grief. Isaiah 61:1-“he sent me to bind up the broken-hearted”. A binding is used for an open wound. Those bandages are a physical representation of something painful that has been endured. Grief and emotional pain is harder to see. Those wounds can cause more pain than anything physical. Though they are not visible they need the same care that any open wound or broken limb would need.
