(2020-11-29 9:43am) Gloria Abram And Jess Abram wrote:
Words cannot fully express the sorrow and pain I feel after learning about the death of my dear and close friend and brother. I am still in a state of disbelief. We talked almost every day since he moved here from Seattle, WA. He even called me the day he first went to the hospital and again to let me know he had been diagnosed. My heart is beyond sad. We were the best of neighbors and friends, and I adopted him as my “Lil brother”. We joked, we laughed, we talked, we shared. We helped each other out when needed and provided what we could if needed by the other. Andre exemplified the true meaning of a husband, a father, grandfather, and friend. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone, he had the biggest heart of anyone I knew, and he will be greatly missed in our neighborhood, our church, and most of all in my heart. My heart goes out to Jessilyn and the entire Head and Hall families. This is a sad time. May the grace of God be with each of you and may you find comfort in knowing that those who love the Lord live forever in heaven even as their memory lives forever in our hearts. It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, and it is, it will be the memory of those little things that will help to push away the pain and bring back the smiles again. I am praying for healing during this time of grief. God is good and His mercy endureth forever. May the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in very way. The Lord be with all of you. 2 Thessalonians 3:16. Left behind to go on, my heart struggling to heal. Shattered by the loss of my friend, the pain I feel is so real. Hope is my only chance; I pray will come again. For time passing through will help my fragile heart to mend. Yet it is healing to know, I have an answer to my prayer. When I look inside my heart, I will always find him there. Although our hearts are aching now, I know that God will sustain us all. Gloria Abram/Jess Abram

I was fortunate that during the last 30 years we enjoyed sharing genealogical research about our Menser-Merritt family and the rich history that we were discovering regarding our ancestors.
