To the Clark family, I am so sorry for your loss. I hadn't seen Wesley since high school, 49 yrs ago. But, I saw him a few months ago at our friends mom's service. We were able to catch up. Now, I'll have to catch up with him in Heaven. This is a "farewell for now" because my plan is to see him when I get there. I am lifting up this family in prayer, asking God to keep you in His comfort and care.🤍🤍🤍

As I was reading these most PRECIOUS comments about my beloved brother, I saw a comment by Lenora A. Hudson and said she and Wesley met up again at Joseph Hart Correctional facility in Lexington , Oklahoma. I know yall know that Wesley had never been to prison. I know Ms. Lenora was only saying they worked there together. Being one of the protectors of my family I had to make sure yall knew he only worked there. Lenora I love your comment and thank you and EVERYONE for loving my beloved brother and I want yall to know that I AM DEVASTED, CRUSHED AND DEEPLY HURT BY HIS PASSING!!

I was deeply saddened when I was told of Wes's passing. I was a teammate of his at CSU and after college. I was so happy we reconnected a couple of years ago at a CSU Reunion. Wes was a great teammate but a better person and an example of what a role model should be. I have nothing but the fondest memories of him. God Bless Wes and my sincerest condolences to the entire Clark family.

I first met Wesley in August 19 73, in Altus Oklahoma. He had moved to Altus for his senior year. I watched him grow from a gangly, young 16-year-old to one of the best power forwards in the state. At Central State he continued to blossom and was to become one of the best players in the nation. Wesley was a fierce competitor, but I never encountered him when he did not have a huge smile and that nfectious laugh of his. The last time I saw Wesley was three weeks ago at the Norman high school gymnasium. He was there watching his son Cooper coach and I was there watching my son coach for Westmoore. I am so thankful that we got to visit for about an hour talk about old times talk about the times we played against each other, coached against each other, and just hung out together as friends. He was a larger than life person, and he will be missed by all his friends, teammates, and family. Rest in peace Wesley
