Angie and I extend our deepest sympathies to you and the Thurman family. We know the soul of Mr. Thurman is at peace with our Heavenly Father. It has been an honor and a blessing to have known Mr. Thurman. He and Mrs. Thurman were always a spiritual blessing to our lives. They encouraged us whenever we saw them at Church functions.

Dearest Uncle: What a long and faithful life you have lived. And now you are celebrated in the Heavenly realms of Eternity. Reunited with and welcomed by others who love you; just as much as those of us you had to leave behind. May the Lord comfort us. Thank you for your footprints in the sands of time that will continue to guide us on our journey to Eternal Heaven too. Although you will be missed; what a comfort it is to know that Love never dies and Life is Eternal. "Well done thou good and faithful servant" Your Niece- Darna

To Debra, Vanessa & the Thurman family, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Though now I've seen many of my dad's close friends & relatives leave this earth, I've had to learn that the death of a child of God is "their" best day ever! When James Thurman (we called him by his whole name) came by to visit our parent's they were so glad to see him. But the most important thing I'll always remember about him is, he validated children with his wonderful smile, acknowledgements & conversations with us. He was a very intelligent man, yet most humble. I will always remember his kind & gentle spirit as well. Now that he is in Heaven he & daddy can have all the happy conversations they desire for all eternity. I know he did a lot of great things in life like taking great care of his family, but he also did a great job of "finishing well." Please know that The James Jones family loves you all & we're praying for you.
