Well, Today I just happen to find out that my friend of many years had passed away. I had just spoken with Her just several weeks ago. Her late Sister, Pastor Carol Daniels was a sweet person. It has been a pleasure to call these two Sisters my Friends. I Pray that their Mother, Mother Charles Etta Dunlap is looking to the LORD for strength in the Passing of Lavera. We had Worshiped together many years ago in the Oklahoma Southeast Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ many years ago under the Leadership of the Late Bishop W.E. Jefferies, Supt. John Statum, Pastor B.R. Nealy, and many other of the Old Timers. But Time Brings A Conclusion to "All" things Earthly, but it's a Joy to have captured the Memories of Days Past. Thank The LORD for HIS Goodness. Now, May This Family be Blessed, And May The Blessings of The LORD Be Upon each of You Now, and in the Days Ahead. Elder & Msn. C.D. Knowles, Los Angeles, California

I am sitting here pondering what to write & say - it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory comfort your tomorrow. Lavera & her late sister, Pastor Carol Daniels, will forever have memories that will forever resonate with me. Sister, Charles Etta Dunlap, it has been a privilege to have known these two wonderful, real people that accepted me as a friend! Although they are gone - they will always have beautiful memories that will play like historical movies I can review at times! RIP, My dear friend. 10/4
