Coach, there are no words that can express the sorrow and the gravity of loss so I won’t attempt to try. I will just honor the man that was Coach Patton. The kindest most caring man. Always had the biggest most warm smile and really made you feel seen. He was a great. I don’t have to tell you what an amazing person he was or how many lives he touched, anyone who knows him or met him knows. He was a genuine person. Coach your memory will carry on because of the many lives you have touched over the years.

One of the most influential teachers I've ever had. His guidance, passion, and support shaped who I am today. He was especially helpful to me in 1995-1996, one of the most difficult times of my life. I’ll forever be grateful for the life lessons he taught me, both inside and outside the classroom. His impact will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to learn from him. Rest in peace, and thank you for everything, Coach Patton!
