To the family of Sister Rosetta Culpepper: We the members of the historic Tabernacle Baptist Church Usher Board Ministry extend to you our sincere condolences, love, and prayers. We are thankful to our Heavenly Father for having known Sister Culpepper. Sister Culpepper and her family have been faithful members of Tabernacle for several decades from the old Tabernacle at 515 N.E. Third Street at Byers Avenue under Reverend E.J. Perry to the present edifice at 1829 N.E. 36th Street. We will cherish the beautiful memories of Sister Culpepper and her family and remember their dedication to our congregation. To brother Vernon Leon Douglas Culpepper, a faithful member of the Emeritus Senior Usher Board, and Sister Cynthia Culpepper we encourage you to remember John 11:25 “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die. And whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” May God Bless and Keep You is Our Prayer!

To Vernon Culpepper, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear Mom. Mrs. Culpepper was one heck of a lady, she loved the Lord, her family and her students immensely. I remember all the time I spent with her and my Mom when I was a young girl, she always made me laugh. Mrs. Culpepper, you have fought the good fight and have won the battle, and now you can rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know He, my Mother and many others were there to welcome you Home. Please give my Mom and my Dad a huge hug and kiss from me, and I'll see you again one day. Much love and many blessings Vernon.
