Robert Shaw & Family, A heartfelt condolences is extended to you and your family. Hearing of Kevin passing sent shock waves to many of us. Kevin was always that smooth, funny dude at WCHS. His personality and smile would always lighten up any room he entered. OMG, Robert to sit back and reminisce on our Norlina to WCHS days, Kevin and y'all cousin, Donald Mason was them dudes in the band and they kept us with a two step. Even after our basketball games whether we won or lost, we could always get Kevin to throw some beats on us so we could turn up..and Yes in the 80's we were turnt up. Most importantly that was just Kevin's life, he loved being Happy, he loved Smiling, he loved a Good Time, he loved People and He always had a very Humble Spirit in everything he did. I remember when I heard after graduation Kevin went into the military, all I could think of was, "Oh Boy, the military will not be the same when Shaw get to basic training". Robert, you and Kevin have ALWAYS BEEN like peanut butter & jam so I know this has got to be super hard for you, because YOU & KEVIN were them DUDES. Just good ole country boys with a splash of city soul....we loved y'all vibes you both both to our class and to our social gatherings. Kevin, will truly be missed no doubt. I last saw you all at our Class Reunion and it was nothing but fun times and you both still came in repping as them Shaw brothers from Color-Town who got Oklahoma lit. You guys made so many of us classmates, Smile and not because you both were handsome but because you knew how to engage with your classmates!! You both never forgot where you came from, and that alone made you & Kevin always stand out. We, the WCHS Class of 1983, stand with you, Robert and only a phone call away. We know you will rep, Kevin well because you always have!! To Kevin's wife and children, we can't begin to phantom what you are feeling at this moment, but we are lifting all of you up in prayers and praying your strength in the Lord. Your husband & father left footprints of legacy behind, continue to walk in Kevin's presence and hold on to the memorable moments you made with him. May God Bless You and I hope you know God gave you a great husband and father, Kevin was a smart, loving & caring man. 🌹RIP KEVIN....UNTIL WE MET AGAIN🌹 Our Sincerest Condolences, Brenda Hicks Alston 🦅Warren County High School Class of 1983🦅 "Soar Like An Eagle, Kevin"
