Special notations: Oliver Brown Jr. was born November 23, 1965, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the oldest of three children born of Oliver Brown Sr. (deceased) and Martha Brown (deceased). His younger siblings are Mark Brown (deceased) and Vernon Brown (Kim). Oliver was an exceptional athlete. He was offered athletic scholarships in Football, Basketball and Track. He accepted a football scholarship from the University of Oklahoma in 1984, prior to graduating from Del City High School that same year. He attended OU for one year and later transferred to Oklahoma State University, where he was also awarded a football scholarship. After leaving OSU in 1988, Oliver worked in several industries, but finally settled on a vocation in supply and logistics. He obtained his CDL and worked as a tractor-trailer driver for many years. Oliver loved the opportunity to see other places and the solitude of the open road. He enjoyed watching sporting events and eating with friends and family, when he was not on the road. Oliver departed this life on Thursday, December 25, 2025. He is survived by his brother Vernon Brown (Kim), daughters Keisha Cowart (Tony) and Bailey Bacon, along with two nieces, a nephew and four grandchildren; and a host of cousins.
