Dr. Frank Wilson III was my father's (Dr. John L. Townsend) lifelong friend. They were schoolmates in elementary, high school and at Fisk University. He definitely was a valuable contributor to our community in so many ways. One of my fondest memories growing up is when my Dad would come to OKC which was quite often since he worked at Howard University in Washington, DC. One of his absolute first visits outside of family would be to the Wilson family home. I always enjoyed going over to visit and play with his children. Our two families enjoyed spending time together. Dr. Frank and his wife Dr. Jackie were always so nice to us. Yolanda (Yo-Yo as her peers called her) and I are the same age and were classmates at Bishop McGuinness High School and in Jack and Jill together. Their friendship meant alot to our family. My deepest sympathy to Jackie and their children: Frank IV, Nathan, Yolanda, and Coreen.

Dr. Wilson delivered my only son Isaac by C-section after a very difficult pregnancy. He showed me a patch of gray hair in his head that he called the "Darko Patch".
