My prayers and deepest sympathy are with his family. Our friendship started over 30+ years ago in the USN, and we maintained it until his passing. He was an amazing person, and friend and I will truly miss him and our 2-hour telephone conversations; and him checking on my husband and I during inclement weather in Texas. He was simply a great friend.
